Samuel, Sam, Sami, Little guy, Amor

Samuel sitting with Otavio under the stairs. I think it looks like they are both sitting there naked. 'Yep just sittin' here together naked and watchin' a movie. (lol)'
Samuel sitting in the kitchen biteing into an apple.

Tim and Samuel playing Wii. Samuel found the remote for our "fire place" and started playing along.

Pancakes and Rainbows

Ok, this may seem silly to put on our blog, but Jacob and I wanted to share with you a fun way we make pancakes now. The kids love it, and it's easy to make the shapes. You just put a small portion of the batter into a refillable ketchup container. You know, the kind you see for picnicks. Make the shapes you want and let them sit for a few seconds so they will be a different shade from the rest of the pancake. Pour the batter over the shapes and then cook as usual. The kids like when we do letters for their names also.

When you finish with all the batter in the mixing bowl there is usually a little left over in the ketchup bottle, so then I make shapes and fill in the outline. They make fun little silver dollar size pancakes, and they cook super fast.

It's rained a lot here, but this is one of the only rainbows we've seen. The sun is finally starting to make an apperance again.

The boys. Oh, and that's Bekah on her bike in the background.

Here is a funny one of the girls posing.

Fun times in Alabama

I walked into Joseph and Lizzie's room the other day to find this. Evidently one must be naked to play with trains! Bet you guys didn't know that!

Lizzie in the cute bakers hat that was in her stocking last year for Christmas. She loves to be in the kitchen whether it's cooking or eating.

It's been raining for a long time here, and it finally let up for a little while yesterday. The kids played out at the park, and had a blast swimming under the swings in the mud hole. Red clay, sand and water mix together for some fun times. Scrubbing the girls' hair afterward wasn't quite as fun, and Joseph's white underwear will never be the same!

Aviation Museum

We went to the Aviation Museum here on post a few weeks ago. The kids had a fun time looking at everything. There a lots of helicopters and some planes there that the Army has used in the last fifty years or so. It was pretty neat.

They had a simulator that the kids could sit in. They didn't want to leave this one.

There was a Chinook that was sitting out that we were able to go inside. It's the same type of helicopter that flies over Mom's house all the time that has two rotors on it.

This is an Apache. You know, the one that is in all the movies!

Lowell's April

I'm really behind on putting any pictures on here. Parley had his first friend B-day party. At a park on April 3rd before school went on break. So because it was before Easter we had an Easter Egg hunt. When part of the party turned into a wrestling match (for fun!) I got to see what little boys are like. On the 15th (his actual B-day) he got a candle his pancakes. That's becoming a tradition for us. Also there are pictures here from Easter Egg hunts at Gramma Nancy's and Gramma Jody's.

There is also a family picture. I think is going to have to cut it for our yearly picture (we were supposed to take back in November)

Our House

Here is a tour of our house. Some of it's not on there, but we'll get to that later. It's kind of dark since we did it right before bedtime last night. We love you guys and miss you.

The train party

Our next door neighbor had a train party for her son that is Joseph's age. He is in love with trains, so she rented this train for his birthday party. The kids had so much fun riding the train over and over again through the neighborhood.
