Kellers in Alaska

Well, things have been going great in Alaska! We sure do miss being in California with family (& Texas). It's gotten down to -15 degrees this past month. These are the coldest months of winter, you know.
Trayton & Tustin are growing big and strong & more full of energy (if that's possible). Trayton started in primary this year and gets better each week. He's not embarressed to throw himself on the floor in front of all his peers (he did not see that from me- he learned that all on his own!) Tustin continues to be the most mellow kid in his nursery class (he came from me, too!!)
Travis is continuing with his flight school with his brother Justin as flight instructor. They are contemplating flying the airplane all the way to Oregon for Justin's wedding in March (I hope they don't go through with it!!) Yes, Justin is getting married!! Katelynn came up & visited this fall with Great Grampa Keller & Grampa Kevin. We approve, she's great.
We recently added our 2 new bedrooms making our home 784 sq ft. We haven't yet finished the 'master' bathroom. We've got all the materials, we've just got other things to focus on right now.
We recently started our new business FHTM ( www.fhtmus.com/traviskeller ) which we are way excited about. Things have been starting to take off for us. We were a little bit slow starting off, but we're excited and continue to work it everyday. We expect the business to provide for us this summer as Travis has made his goal to not fish on Sundays this year. The business has brought a more happier home & I'm actually involved with what Travis does during the day! If anyone needs to purchase an airline ticket use our travel website powered by travelocity: traviskeller.travelfhtm.com.
We are expecting #3 on May 23rd this year. It is another boy- so we are quickly catching up with the 8 girls that will be here against the soon to be 6 boys this year in our Holt family 'grandkids'. But someone else needs to finish picking up the slack so I can have my girl someday soon!!
Well, that about sums up our exciting life. I'll probably post another blog after we come back from our trip to Oregon for Justin's wedding. Lots of pictures and new experiences!! Love you all!!

Keller Family

Well you can see my belly is getting pretty big by now. Samuel Oliviera Luz is Due Feb 16th. We are anxiously awaiting his arival. We are currently still living in our 2bdrm apartment, and loving it. We have already accomplished half of our financial goals for the year, and are excited about the possibility of buying a home later this year. (we hope) Henry is still working at Select supplements as a production supervisor, but is always looking for ideas for a better job. He wants to eventually open his own business. Henry's mother is currently opening her own shop called 'Made In Brazil'. Herny and I want to purchase some brazilian merchandise to put in the store. We are all trying to better our situation and not let ourselves become victoms. Last week I stood only 2ft away from Thomas S. Monson (isn't he the prophet now?), just outside the Vista stake center.
I have been keeping busy by reading books, which most of you know is not really something I would normally do. I have set a goal to read a least one book a month. (That is Crazy for me) but I know it wont be hard as long as I set a goal as to how many pages I will read each day. Henry and I love to learn with science channels and such. Henry is thinking of taking night classes in the near future to help further his knowledge of business, and anything else that stricks his interest. All in all we are just hanging in there and doing all we can to become better people Temporally and Spiritually.
Tah Tah for now!

Hey, we (Jacob and I) were thinking that we should post more often than is planned. If we rotate through each of the siblings with each family once a month that means we will only see pictures twice a year of each given family, and that doesn't include Mom and Dad in there anywhere. So, is anyone opposed to doing it more frequently, or maybe whenever we want? Or we could have set months where we have to publish, but we could still do it in between if we wanted. Now, comment please (soon), and let's see how it goes. We love you all!

Happy Valentines Day!

So, here we are in Texas. It's been fun. The weather here is crazy, but I guess that makes it fun. It snowed at Thanksgiving, but yesterday it was nearly 80 degrees. Today it was in the 50's. Every day is a surprise! Jacob is loving his job. He loves flying, and he is doing well with teaching. Right now he is the ground school instructor. Sometime in the spring he will be switching to CFI. That's a certified flight instructor. He does get to fly now, but not as much as he wants to. The kids are doing well. Rebekah still talks about missing California sometimes, but she is happy here. She is making lots of new friends. Sariah just started Sunbeams on Sunday. Hooray for the big girl. I made her a scripture case to take starting this last Sunday. She was so excited to be a big girl like Rebekah with her very own scripture case. Joseph is finally happy at nursery. It was hard for him for the first few months we were here. Since he was never with anyone but family in California it was hard to get use to strangers here. He is talking up a storm now. He loves helicopters. He was able to go up in one a few months ago. He loved it, but was a little scared while we were flying...grinning the whole time, but unable to move he was so tense! He also loves cars, boats and trains. He loves to hear the trains during the day. We live in a major train area. There are tracks both east and west of us. He's definitely our boy. He is still the happiest boy I've ever known. Nothing ever gets him down for long. Elizabeth is growing like crazy. She is nearly ten months old now. She is standing and getting around everywhere. She is a smiley girl like her brother. She brings a lot of joy to our lives. I'm enjoying the new friends I have here. I'm playing volleyball every Friday and loving it. I'm also sewing a lot. I have more projects than time, but that keeps me happy. I love to sew more than just about anything. I've found some friends that like to do the same. I'm starting an enrichment group soon for sewing. My most recent project I had to have Jacob's help with. After Christmas we ripped apart our couches and reupholstered them. It was actually pretty easy. We ripped out hundreds and hundreds of staples to get the fabric off. Hundreds is not an exaggeration. I did 2/3 of the little couch by myself and it took five hours to rip out the staples! So far we've used a box and a half of staples to put the new fabric on, and we aren't quite done. (there are 1200 staples per box!) The couches look great though. It's a lot of fun to do new projects and learn new things. Life is fun and we feel blessed to be here.

Love you all,
The little Holts
