Keller Family Photos

Here's the family!  We took family photos today to make sure we had updated family photos.  Enjoy! And yes, Lowells, there is NO snow on the ground. And it was about 40 degrees. :-)

Jack O Lantern

Happy Halloween everyone! Thought I'd share my and Tell's pumpkin. It was the happiest one for sure.

Hello this is my second try at making a video to try posting stories on You Tube. I would love to have some feed back if you would give me some to try and make it presentable and not embarrassing.

Shingles Almost Done

The shingles are almost complete!! We picked a red color to work with our wood siding (same siding as before). And we're using shingles as opposed to metal sheeting so that the snow won't slide off so dangerously onto the high tunnel. It's looking good!! And have quite a few helpers!

Roof!!

Never thought I'd say how excited I am to have a "tyvek house", lol. This house is sooo huge! I can see our roof from the mailbox cluster... Haha. Biggest house on the street, almost. 😁

Loading up!

Getting the sheet rock, roof sheeting, trim, and finally trusses. This guy really knows how to operate a boom truck!! A good thing too.

The Trusses are In!

The trusses were delivered today. They are HUGE! The boy's bedroom is planned to be in the loft, so I said to the boys "There's your bedroom!" They are super excited!

Pictures from moms yard . It looks so green and lush

Inside

Just another view of the make-shift roof. Putting on siding today and cleaning up the yard.

Temporary cover

So here's what Travis had to do to our house so it wouldn't get soaked and wet. Put up a make shift roof with plastic. What a circus, eh? Still raining. Trusses should be in early next week.

8 weeks

So I forgot to take a picture of the wet mess that is our house today. It snowed yesterday and rained ALL day today. It was leaking through last night... Eek. But Travis got a plastic cover on it pretty fast, although it's still very moist. :-(

So I have supplied this happy picture of Tate! He's now 8 weeks old! And he is probably the happiest baby of all my babies! And that's hard to do. He's pretty much put himself to sleep 2x today. He is just an angel!! Perfect in every way. I'm having mixed feelings about him growing so fast. Love this bundle of sweetness. ❤

Higher view

Here I am on the second story looking out towards our road. Today working on getting the siding up and preparing for the trusses. Sounds like there will be some bad weather coming his weekend. :-(

Walls

Last night when I came from rehearsal (I'm in a couple skits) I found several men just working on my house and helping Travis out. I was so overcome with humility and gratitude, tears came. Here's 2 walls up. 2 more tonight.

Second story in progress!

I asked Travis to get the floor ready so I could dance on it. So he did! It's solid and they're now working on putting together the walls! :-)

Siding!

We have siding! And Travis is working hard on the second floor today. Next he will be putting up the wall frames. Can't wait!

Update on the house

Here's the latest. But there is no more siding on the house and the big pile of wood is almost gone. :-D

Construction!!

My house is in shambles people! But that's a good thing when you're adding onto your house. Just imagine trying to keep your children from getting into things that are within inches of them, no barrier, 24/7.  Don't forget that just outside, the ground is covered with boards littered with nails waiting to be stepped on. Not to mention temps are reaching below freezing and we have NO insulation because our roof is being torn off as we speak! That's right, we have an awesome sunroof. This is my life right now. :-)
But only for a short time. Because pretty soon the trusses will be up, we'll be closed in, and work on the inside will begin. Then we'll be that much closer with an actual visual of what it will be like.
Can I tell you how surreal this feels?! I've been dreaming and waiting patiently for 10 long years now, for a larger, no, just a descent sized home! This is incredibly amazing to be here now. To see Travis working his BUTT off to make this happen. In fact, I better go, cuz I'm supposed to be clearing out the attic... See ya later! More updates to come!

Geocaching!

First time geocaching was a hit! Though it didn't start out that way. After several "hangouts" with Dad, we found the cache in the trees near by. We drove just 3 miles from the house to a boat launch site by the river, got out and began using the compass on the c:Geo app. I looked at the coordinates and thought I had to match them up somehow. It took us into the woods, mud, prickly plants and water everywhere. I don't know what I was doing, but could see that was NOT mild terrain! Lol. So Dad said to just follow the arrow on the compass (too easy) and it led us to the cache. Yay!

The kids were sooo excited! They loved it. Each of them wanted to take something, it was a bit difficult to convince them otherwise. But I did. Then Tracker lost the stinking prize down the stream. 30 min of looking later, we decided to leave yet another item, to be able to take another item. Lol.  We will definitely be doing this again. It really was an adventure.

28 weeks

81 more days people!!! Feeling like I could burst at only 28 weeks is not comforting. But I'm used to it. Little Taft/Tayte is growing and getting stronger! :-)

THM Breakfast

Bought groceries to eat THM for a week and a half. So this morning we started out with sourdough pancakes, homemade Greek yogurt, and cantaloupe. Mmm!

Mary Rose is Cute

We are back in Hawaii and ready to spend some time at the beach.  This little girl is so happy to see her Papa again! We adore her silly faces she makes.  She's stolen our hearts for sure.

Big brother

Trayton is an awesome big brother. :-) He really loves Tell.

Aviation Trade Show

Here's us with Patrick and Jessica. She was born without arms, yet can do karate, surf, is a licensed pilot and many other things that are easy for us, yet hard for her to learn. She was very inspiring for the kids. :-)

Adventures in Anchorage

We traveled to Anchorage on Saturday to meet up with an old highschool friend, Patrick Chamberlain, and his wife, Jessica Cox. On the way home we stopped at this cool campsite and the kids had a blast.

Happy 4th!!

Naomi turned 4 today! This morning at 9am. I remember that birth with joy and excitement! We celebrated last night. Then Travis left to drive down to Fort Nelson with a friend in need. He'll be back Saturday hopefully.

Easter Dress

I couldn't resist the opportunity to get Naomi a full on Easter outfit, complete with necklace, bracelet, headband and new shoes. Yes, as the only girl she is going to be spoiled!! But it's also considered her b-day present.

THM S Peanut butter cookies

Mmm, these were great! The kids loved them. And I did too.

Basic Sandwich Buns: S

So I made basic sandwich buns when I opened a can of moose, determined to stay on track today and eat NO sugar (one day at a time). These were interesting... The kids took a bite and then tried to pawn them off to each other. Haha. They look pretty and puff up real nice. It was fine with my meat. But I think I'll omit the sweetener, add salt... We'll see.
BTW, I'll be in charge of the next PLASR. Watch for emails!

Tiffany's breakfast!!

I am taking the privilege of posting Tiffany's yummy THM breakfast because it's so easy for me to post. She made bread in mug turned into a waffle! Added strawberries and it looks like scrambled eggs. So good! Good job Tiff.

THM Zuppa Toscana Soup

OK so the name sounds complicated but this hit the spot at our house tonight! We just happened to have all the ingredients. Found it on pinterest and just substituted the potatoes for cauliflower, kale for frozen spinach, and chicken broth for plain water. It was a HIT! All the kids liked it, especially Travis. Yay for staying on track with my food for dinner. Let's just say I was having candy eater's remorse after conference today.
And I really hope I start seeing more posts from everyone. This smart phone makes it super easy!!

We Are Ready For Conference!

Here it is! Hope you all are as excited as me!

FHE

Lesson today was being a Child of God. I especially loved the idea to say this little phrase whenever they get discouraged. I'm doing that myself! Just look in the mirror and say positive things. I highly recommend it!!

Tustin's bullet

Trayton's car

Pinewood Derby!!

Yesterday was our pinewood wood derby. It was 2 and a half hours long!! Tustin learned to lose graciously and Trayton did too. However, he aimed for best in show and that's what he got! His car is a helicopter and Tustin's is a bullet.

Cousin Jennie

I also got to visit with Travis cousin Jennie and Dave in Bagdad. We went for a walk. Arizona is a really great place!

Mesa Temple

While I was in Mesa I was able to attend an endowment session! It is gorgeous. I still have yet to see the newest video, though.
