Jacob during training

Here's this fabulous picture of Jacob during training today. It was taken on a cell phone, so it's not great quality. He's doing DUNK school today. No idea what that acronym stands for, but the class is one day and you learn how to get yourself out of the helicopter if you crash over water. They put you in the cockpit you see behind him and dunk it under water and then you have to get out. Sounds like SERE school won't be until July now. That's the nasty survival school he has to go to for those of you that didn't know. Anyway, love you guys. I'll be posting some more pictures of the kids soon.

Return of the Gramma PJs!!

You can't tell me this kid isn't CUTE!!
Look at this sweet smile, to die for. I had to add this in.
Remember the Christmas pjs from mom in 07? The ones that shrunk after the first wash?
Well, I just reorganized Tracker's clothing sizes and found the pjs and thought they looked Tracker's size. Although the tag reads 2 years! I'm glad they're going to good use on Tracker! All Holt women, I am so excited about our monthly provident living get-togethers! I'm looking forward to our first one on the 9th of May. I'm getting all my ingredients and sizes written down. I love you, Mom. I'm so thankful for your creativity and new ideas.

Rebekah's birthday

Rebekah turned six last week. Here's the mismatched cake I made for her. The kids kept putting their fingers in the icing as I was decorating it. They had lots of fun "helping" me make the flowers.

Rebekah got a kite for her birthday. It was really windy and cold for two days, so we were able to fly her kite that day. We got out Jacob's big kite also that he got for his birthday a few years ago from Mom.

Easter photos

I recently got into cake decorating. I really have fun doing it. It will take a lot of work to get really good at it, but here is a picture of our cake for Easter. I didn't notice until Jacob mentioned it, but the basket looks like it's upside down. Nice huh?

Here are a few photos of our kids in their Easter outfits that Grandmother White got for them.

One of Simeon with his Easter basket. He's our first baby that actually plays with baby toys.

I had to put this one in because I think it's absolutely hilarious. Joseph is trying to take the rose from Elizabeth and he and Sariah think it's so much fun, but Lizzie is not happy about it at all.

Here is our sweet Sariah. We took these next three before church, so the girls all have nice hair still.

How cute is this?
She looks like such a big girl when I put her hair up.

And last is our big six year old Rebekah. She gets to have surgery this Thursday. She's getting tubes in her ears and is having her tonsils and adenoids taken out at the same time.
Rebekah wanted to decorate hats again this year Gramma. She remembered that from last years Easter fun at your house. Hope you guys all had a wonderful Easter today also.

Conference fun

I know we've put up a lot of pictures lately, but we have lots to share! Conference was fun today. Simeon can now get on his hands and knees, and he can sit up for a short time now! We had fun conference packets printed out for the kids, and they enjoyed them.

More food fun

Here's a picture of the pot pie. For some reason it deleted it on my post and I couldn't get it to add it back. Looks just like the real thing huh?

April Fools Fun

We started out April 1st with cereal for breakfast. I snuck food coloring into the bowls under the dry cereal before the kids got their bowls then we poured the milk into the bowls while it was in front of them. When the moved the spoon it made the milk change colors. Jacob totally played it up and was like, "eww...the milk must be rotten!" It creeped Bekah out and it really took her about a half an hour to eat her cereal.

Later we had the missionaries over for dinner, and it was really fun. It totally freaked the elders out! We made sushi, chicken pot pie, cupcakes and juice. We brought the sushi out first and Bekah passed them out. That's when they started to get a clue...hehe. The thought it was pretty funny, and then they realized that the juice was really jello with a straw stuck in it. Oh, and the sushi was really pound cake with fruit rollups wraped around them and then dipped in icing and topped with coconut. Then they started getting wierded out about the food. We brought in the cupcakes and told them that since it was April Fools we have dessert first. One of them said, "Oh, so that's what the jello's all about!" They took their cupcakes and one elder licked the frosting on his and says That is NOT icing. So then the other one is freaking out about it. They were meatloaf cupcakes with colored mashed potatoes on top. They looked like real cupcakes. I brought out the pot pie and it looked real. They were too nervous to eat it and after a while Jacob had me serve some on his plate. They finally got brave enough to eat it after Jacob did, and it was hilarious when they realized that it was really pudding and candies inside. A little while after that Jacob says, "So should we bring out the second course?" To which the missionaries responded with fear. He got out a few pizzas we had hidden in the oven and brought them out in the boxes. The were sure there had to be some trick to that also until we showed them it really was real pizza. We were all laughing through the whole meal. It was a ton of fun! The kids were so funny about it. Joseph wouldn't even touch his cupcake after he licked it the first time because he thought it was just really nasty frosting. When Jacob and one elder finally explained that it was just mashed potatoes and meat he was really excited. The look on his face was pricless! He ate a ton after that. Rebekah wouldn't try the pot pie until I explained when the elders left that it was really pudding and candy, and Lizze wouldn't eat anything but the jello. We will do this again for sure next year. Even the missionaries enjoyed it once they stopped freaking out!

The kids were totally crazy after the missionaries left yesterday and were terrorizing Jacob.

Tracker Standing

Couldn't resist putting this up too. Tracker is actually waving in this video, and he's standing up by himself. :) Oh, and Mary Jo, you'll be happy to know that Tracker now wakes up only once a night!!! Yea, I started feeding him cereal w/fruit 3 times a day and it's working.

Oh, and happy April Fool's day, I'm pregnant. My only prank of the day.

Tracker Crawls!

Hey everyone! I have exciting news. Tracker started "crawling" today. It's a very unique way to crawl, but it works. Part of the reason this is so exciting is that he is extremely happy!! He can now get around by himself and not scream until someone picks him up. He was able to crawl to the bathtub (his favorite place) and watch Tustin take a bath. He can also successfully pull himself up to a standing position, though not so often. At 10 months, Tracker is now mobile!!

Besides that excitingness today, I do have pictures of my new hair cut. Some of you have already seen it through skype and my new webcam!! Yes, I now have a webcam which I am in love with. I can now talk w/any of you who have a webcam and it feels like we're in the same room. I can tell it's deffinitely going to help me stay & feel involved more in my family's lives. I've had the pleasure of talking w/Mom & Dad in California and Jacob and Tiff all the way in Alabama. I'm so grateful for technology and the internet when it comes to staying in touch keeping up with my family. So anyone else reading this who has a webcam and uses skype, please call me. Our 2 names on skype are Travis Keller and Nettie Keller

Travis is a pretty good barber, don't you think? This is only the 2nd time he's cut my hair, and it was less scary this time around. The first time he did an excellent job, so this time I asked for some layering, and he did great. My hair is sooo short!! & I look rather pale, after about 7 months of winter. Well, love you all. Nettie and the boys.

Lizzie's Second birthday

It's our turn for the birthday pictures! Elizabeth turned two recently. We didn't get a video of the singing either, but here are a few pictures. We did a pool party since it's really warm here already. Everyone got their new suits for her birthday. It was lots of fun.

Birthday kisses

In my family growing up the birthday girl (boy) always has to cut their own cake. She really liked doing that.

Here's the cake. I forgot to take the picture before we cut into it.
