Lesson today was being a Child of God. I especially loved the idea to say this little phrase whenever they get discouraged. I'm doing that myself! Just look in the mirror and say positive things. I highly recommend it!!

Pinewood Derby!!
Yesterday was our pinewood wood derby. It was 2 and a half hours long!! Tustin learned to lose graciously and Trayton did too. However, he aimed for best in show and that's what he got! His car is a helicopter and Tustin's is a bullet.

I also got to visit with Travis cousin Jennie and Dave in Bagdad. We went for a walk. Arizona is a really great place!

While I was in Mesa I was able to attend an endowment session! It is gorgeous. I still have yet to see the newest video, though.

I have the book!
I am so excited and hi-lighting like crazy! I've finally purchased the actual hardcopy of Trim Healthy Mama. It's making a difference and boosted my motivation to keep to this program. As I've reread the basic meals, I'm realizing I'm eating closer to S helpers very often. But, eh, I'm pregnant (I love being pregnant!) I'm writing little notes by the recipes with the date I actually tried the recipe, (one of my favorite things to do with recipe books.) I think I will start posting pix of THM meals here. But mostly I'd like to see Mom post some pix of her THM meals as I hear they are in love and keeping up with it successfully. Great way to share our recipes. Love you, family!!

Littles!!!
Dad took the older 2 to work today so I decided to do some little kid stuff with Naomi and Tracker. Enter huge messy goo! I found it on Mom's pinterest, least ingredients and easiest/fastest. 2 cups of corn starch, 1 cup water (we added more to get the gooey effect) and food coloring. If you've made gravy with cornstarch you know what this might feel like. When you move it it becomes hard, when it is still it turns to a liquid. The kids did this for almost an hour. I don't think I need to make it again, though.
The next pic is of Tustin earning his bobcat award at our Blue and Gold Banquet on Wed. We have a fun tradition of painting the kid's faces by the parents. So Travis has done Trayton and Tustin now. Love you guys!
