Well, Summer has arrived here in Alabama. We bought a pool and got it and the fence up last night. The kids are having a ton of fun, but the water is FREEZING! I'm hoping most of the kids will learn how to swim this summer now that we have a pool deep enough to swim in everyday.
They have loving it even though it's only about 1/3 full so far

Wow! You guys made quick work of that fence and pool! How fun for you guys. Ya, I saw swim suits out at our NEW Walmart, and I'm like, ya right! There's still snow on the ground!! It's about 30 degrees here today, too.

yea I noticed the fence too. I guess it makes to put one up now that you have the pool!
We are actually required to put up a four foot high fence on post if we have a pool or trampoline. Not everyone complies with that rule, but I would rather not have the whole neighborhood swimming in the pool unsupervised! Or even my kids for that matter. We got in yesterday, and the water was still freezing! It should warm up in the next few weeks. It's hot here.
