Today is Saturday, so we had our Big Breakfast Saturday as usual. You know, the day we cook eggs and potatoes, bacon, sausage, biscuits, orange julius, and all the other good breakfast stuff. It's different every week. Anyway, the kids like to help cook. Today Lizzie was helping Jacob make the biscuits. Did you guys know Jacob is our official biscuit maker in our house? He makes some really good ones!
Baby John is getting so big! He's 14 pounds now. And he's a happy boy. He's started sleeping 6 to 8 hours a night now, so things are getting easier. Life is always better with regular sleep!
Jacob has finished the first portion of his Black Hawk training. His tentative date for graduation is September second. Less than three months to go! It's hard to believe our time here is almost over. We looked up the driving directions and figured out it will take us 9 to 12 days to drive up there. Can you say, "OH MY GOODNESS!"
