Our bucket garden

We were given buckets from someone, and don't have any need for food storage buckets right now. So I decided to make them into a bucket garden. Since we don't know when we are going to move this summer it works out well. If we move far away we can just give them to our friends and neighbors, and if we have to move if they demolish our house we can take it with us. Win-win situation all around! We didn't plant much since if they need to be moved squash plants won't be able to move easily, they're too big. We planted tomatoes, jalapenos, and bell peppers. It's already warm enough here that we can leave them out without worrying about frost at night. In fact the kids are outside in their bathing suits with the little pool filled up. That is one nice thing about Alabama!

Filling up their buckets

Simeon loves to shrug his shoulders and say "Cheese!"

Here he is filling up his bucket. They all had lots of fun playing with dirt.

Here's the best picture with all the kids in it. Sariah had her eyes closed in every picture we took.

Looks tasty!

Looks pretty neat! Wow, how I wish we could start our garden now. It's been in the negatives. I'm just hoping all the snow is done for the season.
Those are fun things to grow too, they wouldn't grow at all up here. Yummy salsa later on.
